A message from SCC Executive Director, James Thompson

I want you to know that we are deeply committed to ensuring the success of VSP. VSP involves a complex collaboration among many organizations and people. Thank you to everyone who has shared your experience and feedback.

In October2023, SCC surveyed stakeholders for program feedback. To address the survey results, we hosted a facilitated meeting on February 6 in Spokane. Our facilitator, Jessica Wilson, guided the conversation and prepared a report that captured discussions and identified recommendations.

This meeting highlighted three areas of work: communication, monitoring, and data collection. These areas of focus align with the survey results as well as broader needs of SCC. We acknowledge and appreciate the validity of your concerns based on the feedback you provided.

We will need to collaborate on addressing these concerns, working together to find solutions that benefit everyone. The next step is to establish a working group. Everyone will be invited to participate, and further details on how to do so will be provided in the coming month.

Your input is crucial in shaping how we support this collective endeavor.
